Johnny is a very talented voice actor, actor, and singer who we knew of long before we became fans of his.  We loved Power Rangers when we were younger, but kind of lost interest when three of the original characters were replaced, which was when Johnny came onto the show.  It was only after we watched Trigun that we really found out who Johnny Yong Bosch was, and then we went on a search for anything else that he happened to be in.  It was through Johnny's voice work that we became major fans of anime and also discovered his band "Eyeshine".  While we do not only watch anime that Johnny is in anymore, we found a lot of great shows because of him.


      Eyeshine is a band in which Johnny is the lead singer and guitarist.  They play at a lot of anime conventions because of Johnny's connection to that world, and they are working on releasing more cds.  Their songs are all very catchy and they seem to have a great sense of humor about what they are doing (the videos on their website are just hilarious).  We hope that Eyeshine has a lot of success in the future, and that Johnny continues to bring his skills to many more anime shows.  No matter if it is singing, dubbing, or acting - Johnny seems to approach everything with a great enthusiasm and joy for what he is doing, which is a great thing to see.
