Ares and Xena are a couple from the tv show "Xena: Warrior Princess".  Even though they were never officially a couple, they still had a lot of chemistry and are one of our favorite pairs from the show.

       For a long time, we thought that Xena's soulmate was Marcus.  We had only seen episodes from the first three seasons and really liked their relationship and even made a soulmates section for them. However, once we saw some episodes from the end of season five and some from season six, we realized that Xena and Ares were a much better match.  The two had so much chemistry and Ares truly loved Xena no matter what she did or said to him.


       Even though the coupling of Xena and Ares is not that popular, I don't think anyone can deny the romance between them.  Ares even gave up his godhood for Xena!  Although she may not have reciprocated his feelings very much, it was still obvious that she felt something for him.  The two really weren't together much in the early seasons, but there were enough in the end to switch who I wanted Xena to be with!
