Yuri and Wolfram are from the anime Kyo Kara Maoh.  Yuri is a bumbling king and Wolfram a spoiled brat, but the two young men became friends with the prospect of a deeper relationship for the future.

       We first rented a disk of the anime "Kyo Kara Maoh" (aka "God Save Our King") because the storyline sounded interesting.  It is about a young man who gets flushed down a toilet into another world and must assume the position of king.  The show is one of the funniest that we have ever seen,  but there is much more to it.  The characters are all great and well developed, and the storylines are good as well.  One of the best things that we found in the show is the relationship between Yuri and Wolfram.  They may not technically be a couple, but everyone (including Wolfram) sees them as one.  The two characters are great together and we can't see the show breaking them apart, so there's really no worries about them ending up with other characters in the end.  We can't wait to see what is in store for the two of them as the show progresses!


       We do not like watching anime shows before they are finished.  We always catch up and are forced to wait for the next disk to come out, and it's kind of annoying.  We didn't know that this show was in progress when we started watching it and can't go back now.  It hooks you from the beginning and I don't think that it will let go until we see the last episode!
