We had the pleasure of e-mailing Tim Progosh awhile back, and he was kind enough to do a small interview for our site.   We asked some questions that we had been wondering for awhile, and found his answers quite interesting! Thanks, Mr. Progosh!

1. What episode of each season was your favorite to do?
Year one episode 10 "Conundrum" and year two... "City of Plague".


2. What was your favorite thing about being Firouz?
I liked Firouz because he could be so spontaneous and logical at the same time.


3. What is your opinion of the changes for the second season? (Jacqueline Collen leaving, Mariah Shirley coming, a darker feel to the show, etc.)
The change in personnel was for the better I thought, because Jacqueline was torn between the show and Rory her son back home in LA.  Mariah was a ball of fire and lots of fun.  As for the darker tone, I don't think its what any of us really wanted.


4. Did you prefer the first or second season? Why?
I enjoyed year two because I got to get more involved physically, riding horses, more fights etc.


5. Do you keep in touch with any of the cast or crew? If so, who?
George (Doubar) and I are good friends and Zen and I still chat.


6. What was your favorite invention that Firouz made?
My favorite invention is a tie between the hot-tub and the multi cross bow.


7. Do you feel that the character of Firouz is a lot like you are?
Yes I am alot like Firouz.


8. We read awhile back that to get on the show, you brought in some home-made inventions. (Such as a Barbie with wings).  Was this true?  What actually happened?
I did bring in a barbie strapped to an umbrella to illustrate the hanging glider and the release mechanism.


9. What have you been acting in since AoS went off the air?
Since Sinbad I've been in a movie called "Who is Cleitus tout?", "Ghost.com", and a series called "Super Rupert".


10. Were you looking foward to doing a third season of AoS?  Doing anything different with the character of Firouz? (Like more of his past or something?)
I was really looking forward to a third season, just to continue Firouz's expansion as a swashbuckler.


11. In "The Trickster", we found out that Firouz was afraid of fire. Was it ever going to be revealed why?
About the fire, that would have been a good story for an epsiode.


12. Was it hard to do the physical stunts, or did you already have some past experience with the fighting and swordplay?
I loved the physical stunts and played all kinds of football and hockey.


13. In the second season's episode, "The Guardians", is it true that your wife had a cameo?
Yes, Angela played the mother of Ajeeb, the baby who transforms into the monk... In year one she played Rumina's land lady in "Double Trouble".


14. Did your children watch AoS? What did they think about their dad being in it?
The kids watch and love the show.


15. Do you have anything else to say to the fans of the show?
Bye for now, maybe we'll get to make a tv movie of the Adventures of Sinbad to wrap up some unanswered questions, but you'd have to pressure Alliance Atlantis Productions, and soon cause we are not getting any younger.
